Elan Leibman Bar-Mitzvah Portrait Session
Elan Leibman is becoming a man and we had to document this special time in his life for his upcoming Bar-mitzvah. Elan has a passion for skateboarding so we decided it would be perfect to head out the the Jamil skatepark by downtown. I was actually really excited to go out there and photograph him. I'm a big kid at heart and I was just thrilled to be able to get out there and live vicariously through the kids skating around the park. I found some colorful spots that would be perfect for his portrait along with a great colorful sidewalk with the Houston skyline as our backdrop.

Melanie's Family
One of my oldest and dearest friends Melanie asked me to photograph her and her family. Her sisters were in town from Austin and New Jersey. We went to a Bell park in the Museum District where we could have the park to ourselves. It was such a windy day, but we made the best of it and the kids loved it.

Sassy on Saturday
Sassy on Saturday was a fabulous luncheon at Hotel Zaza put together by Tysh Mefford for her super sassy and awesome Stella & Dot stylists. She treated her top reps to a day at the salon. So all the ladies showed up looking beautiful and stylish with their gorgeous jewels. There has been a lot of buzz about Stella & Dot this past year. I am also a fabulous stylist with Stella & Dot. I just absolutely fell in love with the jewelry and wanted to be a part of the fabulous Stella & Dot family. The new Spring line is in, so check it out at www.stelladot.com/sunshinewinters.
Casey's Red Curtain/Boudoir Session
Casey contacted me about doing a Red Curtain Session which is a boudoir style session for her soon to be hubby. She was a little nervous at first since she has never done anything like this before, but before we knew it she was having fun and she was working it like a pro. Just in time for Valentine's Day. I'm sure he will be super happy this year! You go girl!!!

Jessica & Edwin E-Session
Jessica and Edwin contacted me a little before the holiday season to do their engagement photos. Edwin is the military and is stationed abroad and they didn't have a lot of time, but really wanted to have an engagement session before he left. We met in one of my favorite spots. We had a great time strolling through the park and finding a good spot for them to snuggle in. The wind was so strong that day. Luckily, by the end of the shoot Jessica was warm enough and brave enough to shed the jacket for a few shots with the beautiful fall foilage in the background. I think it was well worth it. After they saw these shots they decided to select me for their summer wedding.
Ann-Fit Gym
It's that time of year again, when we all promise ourselves we will eat better and work out more. Well, if you are serious about your health and need to find a good gym and a great trainer, check out Fit Gym and ask for Ann. She will kick your butt into shape for the new year. I'm a Fit member and I love it! Ann introduced me to the gym and got me going. She is now training for body building competitions and wanted some new photos to show off her bod. She's awesome! See you at the gym!
