One of my oldest and dearest friends Melanie asked me to photograph her and her family. Her sisters were in town from Austin and New Jersey. We went to a Bell park in the Museum District where we could have the park to ourselves. It was such a windy day, but we made the best of it and the kids loved it.
Sassy on Saturday was a fabulous luncheon at Hotel Zaza put together by Tysh Mefford for her super sassy and awesome Stella & Dot stylists. She treated her top reps to a day at the salon. So all the ladies showed up looking beautiful and stylish with their gorgeous jewels. There has been a lot of buzz about Stella & Dot this past year. I am also a fabulous stylist with Stella & Dot. Casey contacted me about doing a Red Curtain Session which is a boudoir style session for her soon to be hubby. She was a little nervous at first since she has never done anything like this before, but before we knew it she was having fun and she was working it like a pro. Just in time for Valentine's Day. I'm sure he will be super happy this year! You go girl!!!
Nicole and Omar are such a warm and sweet couple. They had a beatiful ceremony at Christ the Redeemer Church in Cypress. The church has been newly renovated and it is gorgeous. The reception was held at the Omni hotel where their family and friends danced the night away. All the best to you both.
Jessica and Edwin contacted me a little before the holiday season to do their engagement photos. Edwin is the military and is stationed abroad and they didn't have a lot of time, but really wanted to have an engagement session before he left. We met in one of my favorite spots. We had a great time strolling through the park and finding a good spot for them to snuggle in. The wind was so strong that day. Luckily, by the end of the shoot Jessica was warm enough and brave enough to shed the jacket for a few shots with the beautiful fall foilage in the background. I think it was well worth it. After they saw these shots they decided to select me for their summer wedding.
It's that time of year again, when we all promise ourselves we will eat better and work out more. I love that I get an opportunity to photograph couples when they are all in love and then when their growing love is so strong for one another it starts to grow...aka baby bump. Angela and Adam are one of my best friends and I am so lucky I get to be apart of their life and get to capture all the fun moments they have together. They are and have always been so cute together and I am so thrilled that they have a little baby girl on the way. I get to be the fun and crazy auntie with the camera who will be making the silly faces to make her laugh and smile. Just a few more weeks and little Berkley is on her way! I can't wait!
